Rowse 1+1 Ranch
At 1+1 Ranch we don’t do head-to-tail trail rides, yoga, golf, or spa days. We’re a working cattle ranch. We give you the opportunity to not play cowboy but to be one. You will learn to work cattle, ride, rope, brand, drive the herd, and sort cattle. You’ll do all of it mounted on a trained quarter horse that’s yours for as long as you stay. At Rowse’s 1+1 Ranch we’re known for wide open spaces, genuine hospitality, phenomenal horses, and unparalleled riding opportunities. We only take a very limited number of guests each week; you won’t get lost in the crowd. You will get the riding holiday you’ve been looking for in beautiful Burwell, Nebraska.

Hunewill Ranch
An all inclusive vacation at the Hunewill Ranch is a great way to relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect with the cowboy or cowgirl within all of us. Horseback riding for all ages is the main attraction. The Hunewill Ranch has been owned and operated by the Hunewill Family since 1861. The lush meadows and the open spaces make for happy horses, cattle, sheep, and goats, along with all sorts of healthy wild life. Cattle and horses are vital to this working ranch and continue to be so. In 1931, the ranch began to welcome guests. In those days, some stayed for six weeks at a time. Because this is a working cattle ranch, guests may have the opportunity to drive, sort, and ride through cattle and they are often amazed at how much they enjoy it. For those who enjoy a faster pace, long lopes through the wide grassy meadows are always offered. There are activities to suit people of all ages, whether singles, couples, or families. Hiking, fishing, site seeing, roping practice, talent night, square dancing, hay rides, and game night are some of the added attractions. Add to this, comfortable cabins, a relaxed schedule, clear mountain air, a certified massage therapist, nearby hot springs, and great meals; and you get a vacation that helps you remember the parts of yourself that may have become blurred by a hectic lifestyle. Hunewill Ranch is located near Yosemite National Park and Bodie State Park.
Rates include meals, lodging, horseback riding, and activities. Tax and gratuity not included.
