Jump into the wonderful world of horses and enjoy a front-row seat for high-flying equestrian sports action. As the proposed home of LA28 Olympic equestrian competition, Galway Downs is the West’s hub for horse sports of all kinds.
The unique partnership between horse and human sets equestrian sports apart from anything else. Unspoken communication, extreme athleticism and physical grace define the sport. You’ll see it all on display here.
Many of our events welcome volunteers. No experience is required and it’s a great way to learn about horses, the sport and meet awesome people!

Event: The Eventing Championships at Galway Downs
Dates: Oct. 30 – Nov. 3
Description: This competition features the Olympic equestrian discipline called Three Day Eventing. It’s comprised of three phases – dressage, cross-country jumping and show jumping in the arena.
