TOP SHELF BREEDERS ANNOUNCES SECOND ANNUAL EVENT WILL PAY A PROJECTED $300,000 DURING OCTOBER RACE

Top Shelf Breeders (TSB) recently announced that their 2023 Annual Event will payout a projected $300,000 and offer $100,000 in added money and awards. The year-end event is hosted in Fallon, Nevada, October 26-28 at the Rafter 3C Arena.
“With 2022 being such a great inaugural year for Top Shelf Breeders, we couldn’t be more appreciative of participants,” said Rachelle Smith-Mose, TSB Owner. “We look forward to an even bigger event in 2023 and look forward to contributing to the West Coast barrel racing community.”
The three-day event will allow barrel racers to compete in futurity, derbies, youth and senior, and slot races. In 2022, Top Shelf Breeders paid nearly $200,000 at their 2022 finals event.

The 2023 payout is as follows:

Event Payout
TSB 2D Sweepstakes: $ 10,000.00
TSB Futurity: $ 15,000.00 + awards
TSB Derby: $ 15,000.00 + awards
TSB 4D $ 30,000.00 + awards
Open 4D $ 9,500.00 (progressive)
Youth $ 5,500.00
Senior $ 1,000.00
Royal Crown $ 5,000.00
The Diamond Classic $ 5,000.00

The 2023 Top Shelf Breeders Barrel Race will also be a pathway and serve as a qualifier to compete in The American Rodeo, the crown jewel of rodeo – the richest one-day payday in rodeo, providing an opportunity to earn $1 million.
“We are lucky to be able to bring a first-class event to the West Coast that is affordable with great payouts that are not top-loaded,” said Smith-Mose.
