Just in time for the Fourth of July, local artist creates one-of-a kind piece to highlight her American pride and capture the western culture of the Arizona community.
Local fine artist, Blair C. Dworkin, has revealed her newest bronze sculpture. Titled “Let Freedom Reign”, the sculpture features a cowgirl proudly presenting the American flag overhead as she rides an Arabian horse.
“I was compelled to sculpt this piece after frequently attending horse shows and rodeos”, says Blair. “Cowgirls ride into the area displaying the American flag as the national anthem plays. There is a feeling of unification, great excitement and joy among the crowd and I wanted to capture this powerful feeling in a sculpture.”
