High Roller Reining Classic Horse Show and Western Gift Show – Friday, Sept. 8 – Saturday, Sept. 16
The High Roller Reining Classic Horse Show returns for the tenth year to the South Point Arena Friday, Sept. 8 through Saturday, Sept. 16. Since its first appearance at South Point Hotel, the event has grown to be recognized as one of the National Reining Horse Association’s (NRHA) leading worldwide equestrian events. Annually this event brings in riders and horses from around the world to compete and take home a piece of the competition’s $600,000 purse. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase Western apparel and equestrian accessories such as tacks and saddles at the Western Gift Show located in the arena concourse. Andalusian World Cup Horse Show – Wednesday, Sept. 20 – Saturday, Sept. 23
The fourth annual Andalusian World Cup will take over the South Point Arena Wednesday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Sept. 23. The world’s finest Spanish horses, trainers and exhibitors will travel from around the world to compete for the chance to win the supreme champion title along with cash prizes, trophies, show saddles and more. Spectators can take in horses and riders competing in classes such as Dressage/Sport Horse in Hand, Halter, Performance, Driving and Working. This event is free and open to the public.
PCCHA “Holy Cow” Performance Horse Futurity & Western Gift Show – Thursday, Oct. 5 – Saturday, Oct. 14
The Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association’s (PCCHA) “Holy Cow” Performance Horse Futurity will be held in the South Point Arena Thursday, Oct. 5 through Saturday, Oct. 14. Guests will witness some of the best horse cutting professionals compete for cash and prizes. In addition, guests can enjoy a Western gift show, offering the latest in western apparel, art, and more. This event is free and open to the public.
Legacy Team Penning & Ranch Sorting Finals Extravaganza – Thursday, Oct. 19 – Sunday, Oct. 22
South Point Hotel’s Priefert Pavilion will host the Legacy Team Penning and Ranch Sorting Finals Extravaganza Thursday, Oct. 19 through Sunday, Oct. 22. The four-day event will showcase the best pennings and sortings on the West Coast as competitors compete for cash and prizes. The event is free and open to the public.

South Point Arena welcomes 73rd Annual California Saddlebred Horse Futurity Show Friday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 29. Fans can expect to see excellent equestrian showmanship during an array of performance classes for American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Ponies, Roadsters, Saddle Seat Equitation and Open Pleasure. This event is free and open to the public.
PBR Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour Finals – Saturday, Oct. 28 – Monday, Oct. 30
South Point Arena will host the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour Finals, presented by Professional Bull Riders (PBR), from Saturday, Oct. 28 through Monday, Oct. 30. The event serves as the premier expansion tour for the PBR and brings some of the best competitors in the bull riding industry. Tickets are on sale now and start at $25.
PBR Fan Zone – Friday, Oct. 27 – Saturday, Nov. 4
Returning for the third year, the South Point Arena and Exhibit Hall will host the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Fan Zone during the 2017 Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas starting Friday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 29 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. PBR fans will have the opportunity to witness special events while enjoying live entertainment on the Fan Zone Stage. This offers more opportunities for fans to interact with every bull rider in the Top 40 of the PBR world standings. This event is free and open to the public.
American Bucking Bull Association World Finals – Tuesday, Oct. 31 – Saturday, Nov. 4
The American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) World Finals return to the South Point Arena for a week, showcasing the world’s finest bucking bull stock Tuesday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 4. Throughout the event, bull riding enthusiasts have the unique opportunity to witness some of the fiercest bucking bulls from around the country. With each bucking bull competing to win a coveted World Finals title, the event will create a thrilling and unforgettable week of competition. Tickets will be on sale soon.

The South Point Arena welcomes the 42nd annual Indian National Finals Rodeo & Gift Show Tuesday, Nov. 7 through Saturday, Nov. 11. Fans of all ages will witness the best of the best equestrian and bull riders in a variety of competition styles such as bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and much more. Las Vegas National Hunter and Jumper Horse Show – Tuesday, Nov. 14 – Saturday, Nov. 19 – UPDATED
Witness the Las Vegas National Hunter and Jumper Horse Show at the South Point Arena Tuesday, Nov. 14 through Saturday, Nov. 19. Fans will see Olympic winning horses and their riders compete in courses featuring obstacles such as triple bar, gates, walls, rails, and many more. Events, with the exception of Saturday, Nov. 18, will be free and open to the public. Tickets for the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Las Vegas qualifier on Saturday, Nov. 28, presented by Interactive Mortgage, will be available soon.
Thanksgiving Shootout Women’s NCAA Division I Basketball – Friday, Nov. 24 – Sunday, Nov.26 —UPDATED
South Point Arena welcomes back the Thanksgiving Shootout Women’s NCCA Division I Basketball tournament from Friday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 26. Watch as Division I teams from Cleveland State University, Creighton University, Louisiana State University, Kansas State University, Louisiana Tech University, Niagara University, Pennsylvania State University, St. Louis University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Texas and University of Washington battle for the champion title.
